Bison Transport is proud to support the third annual Wreaths Across Canada (WAC) Ceremonies in Manitoba and Ottawa. These ceremonies will take place at two locations in Manitoba: The Fields of Honour at both Brookside and Transcona Cemeteries, and at the Field of Honour at Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa.
Bison Transport has partnered with many branches of our Canadian Armed Forces to make these wreath-placing ceremonies happen. These events will be attended by members of our Canadian Armed Forces, Cadets, and veterans, and are also open to the general public.
Bison Transport purchases thousands of wreaths and arranges for transportation of them to the cemeteries.
Bison has been a proud supporter of WAC since the inaugural Manitoba service at Brookside Cemetery's Field of Honour.
This year, spurring the growth of the organization, WAC has included the service at Transcona Cemetery. Bison is working with WAC to continue their expansion, with our hope to see ceremonies in military cemeteries across the country.

"Placing a wreath in remembrance of military personnel we have lost is a way for us to thank those who lie buried for their service and sacrifice to our country. It's also a way to pay respects to the living, as the families of our fallen have also made a great sacrifice and it's important to let them know they are not forgotten."
Bison Transport continually strives to be a military-friendly organization, providing jobs for military veterans and supporting the military in our community. We have worked with PPCLI, LDsH, 17 wing, as well as employing many military veterans. WAC is another way Bison supports our Canadian Military.
